Last updated: 31 August 2026. Please read these terms carefully before booking a trip with us.
These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and enquiries made with NGULI TOURS, operated by NGULI TREKS & SAFARI LTD, a company registered in Tanzania ("NGULI", "we", "us" or "our"). By requesting a quote, confirming a booking or using this website, you agree to these terms.
NGULI TOURS is a 100% Tanzanian-owned and registered Destination Management Company (DMC) based in Moshi, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, operating as NGULI TREKS & SAFARI LTD. We arrange Kilimanjaro climbs, Mount Meru treks, Tanzania safaris, day trips, cultural tours, Zanzibar holidays, accommodation and related travel services across Tanzania and East Africa.
Prices on this website are shown as "Request a Quote" and are not fixed published prices, since costs depend on your dates, group size, accommodation level and route. A quote is not a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once we have issued written confirmation and received any required deposit. Itineraries shown on this website (including Kilimanjaro routes, Mount Meru, safaris and day trips) are sample itineraries and can be customized to your dates, pace, accommodation style and interests.
A deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance due before or on arrival, as set out in your specific booking confirmation. Accepted payment methods, exact deposit amounts and balance due dates will be confirmed with you directly and are not published on this website, as they can vary by trip and season.
Cancellation terms, refund eligibility and any applicable fees will be set out clearly in your booking confirmation before you pay a deposit. Please ask us for our current cancellation policy when requesting a quote, and read your booking confirmation carefully before confirming payment. Some third-party costs (such as park fees, flights or non-refundable lodge bookings) may not be recoverable once paid, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
You are responsible for ensuring you hold a valid passport, any required Tanzania visa or entry permit, and any recommended or required vaccinations for travel to Tanzania. We are happy to advise where we can, but final responsibility for entry requirements and health preparation rests with you. Please consult your embassy/consulate and a travel health professional before departure.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every trip, including cover for medical treatment, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and, for Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru climbs, cover for high-altitude trekking specifically. Travel insurance is not included in our packages unless explicitly stated.
Trekking, safari and outdoor travel in Tanzania carry inherent risks, including but not limited to altitude illness, wildlife encounters, road conditions and weather. Our guides follow professional safety practices and emergency procedures, but we cannot guarantee against all risks. You should be reasonably fit for your chosen activity and disclose any relevant medical conditions to us before travel.
As a Destination Management Company, we arrange services delivered by third parties, including hotels, lodges and camps, domestic flights and transport operators, national park and conservation authorities, and independent guides and crew. These third parties operate under their own terms and conditions. While we select partners carefully, we are not liable for acts, omissions or service failures that are outside our direct control.
We expect all clients to treat our guides, crew, local communities, wildlife and the environment with respect, and to follow the safety instructions of our guides and rangers at all times. We reserve the right to remove a client from a trip, without refund, where conduct puts safety, wildlife, communities or other travelers at risk.
To the extent permitted by Tanzanian law, NGULI TOURS' liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the value paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or third-party losses, or for events reasonably outside our control (see Force Majeure below). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We are not liable for delay, failure to perform, or changes to your itinerary caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, government action, park closures, civil unrest, pandemics or similar events. Where possible, we will work with you on reasonable alternatives.
Our guides or team may take photographs or video during your trip for our own marketing and website use. If you would prefer your images not be used, please let us know before or during your trip and we will respect that request.
The content on this website, including itineraries, photography and text, belongs to NGULI TOURS / NGULI TREKS & SAFARI LTD or is used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our consent. We aim to keep information on this site accurate, but itineraries, routes and content may change and should be confirmed at the time of booking.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The version in effect at the time of your booking confirmation will apply to that booking.
